Mohali: Coronavirus infection is increasing day by day in Punjab. So far, 130 positive cases of this dangerous virus have been reported, out of which 10 have died. But there has been a stir since the discovery of 34 corona infected in a village in Mohali. So far 34 cases of corona have been registered in Jawaharpur village.

Girish Dayalan, Deputy Commissioner of Mohali (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), while giving information to the media, has said that '50 cases of Corona have been reported so far in Mohali. A maximum of 34 infected cases have been found in Jawaharpur village alone. Two people have died here, while 5 have been cured after treatment. The village is located in Dera Bassi town of Mohali.

The Punjab government has decided to extend the lockdown in the state by 1 May, in view of the fast-growing cases of Coronavirus. Along with this, wearing masks in the state has also been made mandatory. State Chief Minister Amarinder Singh informed about this. Giving information about his decision, CM Amarinder said, 'It is now mandatory to wear masks in Punjab. Whenever you are out of the house in an emergency or for essential items, wear a mask.
