Ludhiana: On Thursday morning, senior Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) leader, Brigadier Jagdish Gagneja (retd) died at 9.16 am at the Hero DMC Heart Institute.

According to the doctors of the hospital, the condition of leader worsened on Wednesday night and his blood pressure fell rapidly on thursday morning. 

On August, Gagneja was moved to Ludhiana’s DMC from Patel Hospital in Jalandhar, after two unknown motorcycle-borne attackers had shot at him from close range there. 

Post mortem will be conducted at DMC itself due to security reasons instead of civil hospital.
