Patna: Anti-Bihar politics is not a new thing in Maharashtra, but this time the matter is a bit different. Former Bihar CM Rabri Devi has been made fun of for the entry of Rashmi Thackeray, wife of CM Uddhav Thackeray in the politics there. Due to this, political rhetoric in Maharashtra is intensifying. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has also said from Bihar that such things reflect the anti-women mentality of the BJP. The Bharatiya Janata Party has come down on the pretext of Rabri Devi to insult mothers and sisters. The Uddhav government of Maharashtra should take strict action in this matter.

Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray does not seem to be very active these days due to surgery on back pain. He also did not attend the winter session of the Assembly. In view of this, there is speculation that Uddhav Thackeray's wife Rashmi Thackeray may be made the CM of Maharashtra. Following the speculation, BJP social media in-charge Jiten Gajaria in his tweet along with a photo of Uddhav Thackeray's wife Rashmi Thackeray termed her as 'Marathi Rabri Devi'. Later, in another tweet, Jiten put up a picture of CM Uddhav Thackeray and deputy CM Ajit Pawar and wrote, "If Rashmi Thackeray will run the government, why is he and the deputy CM?" In this case, Mumbai Police has taken action and arrested Jiten Gajaria.

Then, there is a heated exchange. The issue of 'Marathi Rabri Devi' has become so big in Maharashtra that the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Shiv Sena kept getting confused in the name of Rabri Devi throughout the day. Talking about Bihar, Rabri Devi's family has not yet given any response in this case. However, RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari has said that such talk exposes the anti-women mentality of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Rabri Devi has made Bihar proud, by insulting her, the Bharatiya Janata Party has insulted mothers and sisters. Maharashtra government should take strict action against such people.
