New Delhi: Rafale fighter jet purchased from France will be formally inducted into the Indian Airforce (IAF) fleet on 10 September. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will formally induct five Rafale fighter jets into the Indian Air Force (IAF) at Haryana's Ambala Airport in a ceremony on 10 September. For which French Defense Minister Florence Paly will also be called.

According to media reports, defense sources have told that the ceremony will be held after the return of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh from Russia. The Defense Minister is going to attend the meeting of the Defense Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member countries from September 4 to 6 in Russia. The source has said, 'The program to formally include the installation of Rafale fighter jet will be held on September 10, in which Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will arrive as the chief guest. An invitation is being sent to the French Defense Minister to participate in this program to mark the strategic friendship between India and France.

Let us tell you that five Rafale fighter jets reached India from France on 29 July. Comprehensive training was started in the country within 24 hours. French-origin fighter aircraft are part of the Air Force's 17 Golden Arrow Squadron. These fighter jets have already taken off in Ladakh region. Those who fly in different parts of the country are familiar with the area. Of the five Rafale aircraft that have arrived in India, three include single-seat, two double-seat.
