Patna: The killers of a 20-year-old girl who was burnt alive for opposing molestation in Desari, Vaishali, Bihar, have not yet been arrested. The police is currently looking for the accused and raids are going on. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has attacked the Bihar government on this matter.


He has tweeted, "Whose crime is more dangerous- who did this inhuman deed? Or who hid it for electoral gains so as to lay the foundation of his false 'good governance' on this misrule?" With this caption, he has shared the snap of a newspaper in which there is news of the girl's death. An SHO has also been suspended on charges of negligence in this case. Women associated with women's organizations have come forward and demanded the arrest of the killers.

In this regard, Appva National General Secretary Meena Tiwari said, "Protection of criminals by the police should stop." In this case, the mother of the deceased told, 'On the morning of 30 October, three boys molested her daughter, which she opposed, she was burnt alive by spraying kerosene. She died on November 15 after being referred to PMCH. While talking to Appva General Secretary Meena Tiwari, the mother of the deceased said, 'I just want justice and nothing else'.
