New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi is a constant attacker on the central government regarding the farmers' movement. Meanwhile, today he has targeted the Modi government over the death of more than 60 farmers protesting against the agricultural laws of the Center. With this, Rahul Gandhi has said that the government should abandon its stubbornness and cancel all three anti-agriculture laws.
He said that because of benefiting a few bourgeois friends, the Modi government is adamant about not insisting on the demand of farmers and is continuously doing injustice to agitating farmers. On Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi tweeted, writing that, 'More than 60 farmers have lost their lives due to the discriminatory attitude and stubborn attitude of the Modi government. The Government of India is attacking him with crying gas instead of wiping his tears. This cruelty is being done only to increase the business of some of its capitalist friends. Modi government quit stubbornly and cancel anti-farmer laws.'
The agitation of farmers' organizations to withdraw the three laws related to agriculture and to give legal status to the minimum support price (MSP) of crops continued on the 41st day today on the adjoining borders of Delhi. Leaders and activists of farmers' organizations continue to protest against the capital's borders even after inclement weather for the last three days.
