For the last few days, the Railway Minister has been appealing to the state governments to approve other trains so that the trapped workers can be transported to their destination. He has particularly appealed to Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Bengal. Meanwhile, the railways informed that 1074 labor trains have been run across the country from May 1 to May 15 midnight. In 14 days, about 14 lakh migrant workers were transported to these destinations through these trains. According to the railway, in the last 15 days, the railways have received approvals for more than 1000 labor trains. Most of these trains ran between Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The Railway Minister appreciated the active cooperation of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in the operation of these trains.
