Bhopal: To fight the coronavirus, a mobile hospital of 241 beds has been prepared in Bhopal Railway Division. That is, there are mobile isolation wards in the train coach, which will be used in the corona infection affected areas. These wards are made in AC and General coaches of trains. In addition to the bed in the coach, there is a doctor-paramedical room and a medicine room. These will be run with the train or separately as per the requirement, hence their name is Mobile Isolation Ward. According to sources, if someone is found infected in the passenger train after the lockdown opens, it will be kept in the mobile isolation ward. Currently, they are ready to be used in Bhopal, Itarsi, Bina, Guna. Isolation wards have been made by Bhopal Coaching Depot in 10 coaches and Nishatpura Railway Factory in 23 coaches.

Bhopal Railway Division comes in West Central Railway. Its zone headquarters is Jabalpur. Mobile isolation wards are being constructed within 24 coaches in Bhopal coaching depot of Mandal headquarters and 47 coaches in Nishatpura rail coach factory. Which will be very helpful. Till Sunday evening, Bhopal Coaching Depot has made isolation wards in 10 coaches and 23 coaches factory. The coaching depot has prepared 8 beds in a coach and 7 beds in a coach by the factory. In this way, a 241-bed moving hospital in 33 coaches is ready. Work is underway to create wards in 37 coaches. Out of these, isolation wards are being made in 13 coaches by Bhopal Coaching Depot and 24 in Coach Factory.

There is electricity, the water system in these wards. Medicines, medical equipment and oxygen cylinders are dustbins for holding medical vests. There are arrangements for the bucket, stool. There is a gap of more than one meter between the beds. A coach has three toilets and a bathroom. There is a system of sanitization in every ward, toilet, bathroom. All beds have mosquito nets, curtains, which will protect patients from mosquito bites.
