Jaipur: Rain is continuously wreaking havoc in many parts of Rajasthan Since Thursday morning. Ajmer, Pushkar and Parbatsar have received continuous rain for about three hours in the morning and several areas have been submerged and the situation in some areas has also been submerged due to waterlogging.
A young man in Ajmer was also reportedly swept away in the water, fortunately, he has been saved by the people there. However, Parbatsar near Nagaur has also been inundated in several areas after the rains and it has recorded about 50 mm of rain in three hours. According to the Met department, rain warning has been issued in some parts of eastern Rajasthan during the next 24 hours.
A house in The Hawafani area of Ajmer also collapsed. After which the SDRF team reached the spot and the flood situation has become in Pushkar Nala after the early morning rain. The Met Department has said that winds are likely to hit Alwar, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Kota, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sirohi and Udaipur in eastern Rajasthan. According to information, Mount Abu recorded the highest rainfall of 176 mm in the past 24 hours. While Ajmer recorded 0.2, Bhilwara 1.0, Sikar 4.2, Kota 8.4, Dabok 1.9, Ganganagar with 2.4 mm of rain.
