NEW DELHI: The upcoming days are expected to bring light precipitation or snowfall to certain regions, including Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and Uttarakhand. 

Also, it was noted that northwest India was unlikely to experience any active western disturbances during the final week of February.

Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, and other states will experience rain as a result of a new western disturbance that is anticipated to begin affecting the Western Himalayan Area on February 18.

On February 18, there is a high likelihood of light, isolated rain or snowfall in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, and Muzaffarabad, and also light to moderate scattered, fairly widespread rain or snowfall on February 19–21.

For the second half of the week, there is a very good chance of light, localised rain in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, and Nagaland.

From February 19 to February 21, 2023, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will have light, isolated to scattered precipitation and snowfall.

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are highly likely to get light, isolated to scattered rainfall this week.

No significant weather is very likely over the remaining parts of the country during the week.
