Jaipur: A cleric at the RGT police station in the Barmer district of Rajasthan has been accused of molesting a minor student. It is alleged that the cleric and his accomplices together fed the minor something while going to school, after which they molested her.

According to information, the minor girl, a resident of a village under the RGT police station area, was forcibly fed something and molested by some persons while going to school. During this time, by doing sorcery, the cleric forcibly fed something to the minor. After this, he took to the deserted place and started tampering. When the minor started making noise, the three fled.

RGT police station officer Omprakash informed that a case of molestation of the minor has been registered. Action has been taken against the accused under the POCSO Act. Considering the seriousness of the matter, an investigation has been initiated.
