Jaipur: A shocking case has come to light in Rajasthan. The head constable, who went to investigate a land dispute case in Rajsamand district of the state, has been beaten to death. Constable Ghani Mohammed is said to have gone to the village to investigate the case. Meanwhile, the accused in the case thrashed the 48-year-old constable.

Stone pelting and firing on police, rescued Gokshi accused

The villagers remained mute spectators throughout the event. Constable Ghani Mohammed was rushed to the hospital for treatment in critical condition, where he died while undergoing treatment. The top police officials are not responding in this case. According to the report, DSP Rajendra Singh, CI Benuram Vishnoi and the police team rushed to the spot and launched an investigation on the information of the beating of the constable. The team is engaged in locating the attackers.

Additional Superintendent of Police Rajesh Gupta said, prima facie it appears that unidentified miscreants thrashed Ghani Mohammad during the investigation of a case, causing serious head injury leading to his death. No arrests have been made so far. The case is under investigation.
