Jaipur: After overflow of Bisalpur dam in Rajasthan, drinking water supply has been increased in Ajmer, Jaipur and Tonk. In fact, PHED had cut the water by 30% due to shortage of water in summer, but after the heavy rains, the water level of Bisalpur dam increased, but even then PHED engineers continued to cut the drinking water.

After this, when the media raised this issue prominently, now again the drinking water supply has been increased in all three districts. On one hand, the gates of Bisalpur dam were being opened, on the other hand, drinking water supplies were being cut in Jaipur, Ajmer and Tonk, the capital of the state. After which the media continuously raised the issue, on which PHED has increased the drinking water supply in all the three districts.

Now 360 MLD water is being supplied to Jaipur city instead of 330 MLD. In this way, 30 MLD of water has increased to 170 LPCD. 12 MLD water has been increased for the boundary wall from Ramnivas Bagh pumping station. That is, water is being given in the boundary wall for one hour.
