New Delhi: Former Team India pacer S Sreesanth has returned to cricket through the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament after 8 years. Sreesanth is now on his 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). As per reports, Sreesanth can once again play for his old Rajasthan Royals. In 2013, Sreesanth was banned due to spot-fixing.

S Sreesanth has described himself as available for IPL 2021. The action could be for the 14th season of the Indian Premier League on February 18. It is claimed that discussions are going on between Sreesanth and Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson to return to IPL. Sreesanth had recently played cricket with the Kerala team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament. Sreesanth's return to cricket has been under Sanju Samson's captaincy. Sanju Samson led the Kerala team in SMAT.

In 2013, Sreesanth was banned for spot-fixing. In 2020, the ban on Sreesanth ended and the path to his return to cricket was also clear. Rajasthan Royals look at an Indian fast bowler. Rr's team has released Ankit Rajput and Varun Aaron. Sreesanth can find a place in the team as a partner of Jofra Archer and Kartik Tyagi.
