Jaipur: Villagers bid farewell to the teacher on his retirement at Bhilwara in Rajasthan that people were left watching. The villagers took out a procession on an elephant with songs and harmonies to the teacher who had completed his tenure and bid him a memorable farewell. This unique case of a teacher's farewell is from Aravad village under the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan.

On his farewell to Bhanwarlal Sharma, a senior teacher who teaches at Government Senior Higher Secondary School, Aravad, villagers took out a procession on an elephant on his retirement. The honour was given in memory of the teacher's education as a guardian of children in the last 20 years. Bhanwarlal Sharma, along with educating the students, also put his entire life into the physical development of the school and also built a computer lab for the student by paying Rs. 2,00,000 from his retirement amount.

The Kavi Sammelan has also held in the village a day ago in honour of teacher Bhanwarlal Sharma before taking out a procession on the elephant. Gopal Lal Kumawat, a teacher working in the same school, says that senior teacher Bhanwarlal Sharma taught children in the school as well as always inspired them as their parents. As a result, the students and villagers sat him on an elephant and bid farewell with respect.
