A case has been filed against actor Rajat Bedi at DN Nagar police station. The actor has been accused of hitting a passerby with a car. Rajat took the injured man to Cooper Hospital. The actor said he has hit the man with his car. According to reports, the actor has assured the person's family that he will conduct a thorough inquiry into them. The actor then left.
As per the report received, Senior Inspector Milind of DN Nagar police station said, Rajat Bedi has been booked under IPC and Motor Vehicles Act. He has not been arrested at present. Doctors who are treating the person said that his condition is very critical at present and he has suffered head injuries. He is on oxygen support in ICU. They need blood.
The victim's wife says, 'This accident happened at 6.30 am when my husband was coming back from work and he was drunk. When my husband was crossing the road, Rajan hit him. My husband fell and got hurt.' Thereafter, Rajat took them to Cooper Hospital. The actor said that my husband suddenly came in front of his car. He has said that he will help us. He had said that he and his driver would remain in the hospital but later said that he was leaving and did not return. If anything happens to my husband, Rajat will be responsible for it. He should be arrested.
