A new twist is being seen in the former PM Rajiv Gandhi murder case. In the Rajiv Gandhi case, a big case has come up regarding the money of the said accused. Please tell that on the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, S. Anand Kumar, President of Mysore Bar Association, has said that our members have decided not to contest the case of Nalini K., convicted in the Rajiv Gandhi murder case. In this regard, demand has been submitted to the Association on our behalf and it has been appealed by our lawyers not to represent them. He further said that we have discussed the matter and decided that Nalini should not be represented nor should she be given legal services.

A status report was made in the Supreme Court on behalf of the Central Government in the Rajiv Gandhi murder case. A two-member bench comprising Justice L Nageswara Rao and Justice Hemant Gupta expressed dissatisfaction. The bench had asked the Center to present this report immediately through the Additional Solicitor General and there should be a debate on it.

Apart from this, in another petition a hearing was held in the Supreme Court today on the Rajiv Gandhi assassination. In which the central government filed a status report before the Supreme Court regarding the investigation of the belt bomb. The investigation involved a convicted AG Perarivalan. A two-member bench of the court was headed by Justice L Nageswara Rao. Which also includes Justice Hemant Gupta.
