Rajkumar Kapoor has assumed the charges of media Coordinator to Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar, Chief Minister of Haryana. Rajkumar, who has been an active member of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Bharatiya Janata Party for a long time, will have the onus of ensuring that key messages align with the policies of the Government of Haryana.

Prior to this, he acted as a coordinator in the Rohtak Vidhansabha elections in 2000 and Rohtak Loksabha Elections in 2004. Post this; he regularly served as a coordinator in many Loksabha and Vidhan sabha Elections from the year 2005 to 2009. Throughout these years, he proved his mettle as a media coordinator with superb media management and organizational skills. 

His new role expects him to continue to deliver his responsibility with utmost honesty and integrity. He promises to ensure that even the most remote areas of Rohtak will have easy access to all public welfare schemes and developmental projects being run by the Government. He aims to conduct his duties in the Development of Haryana by ensuring that every citizen is fully aware of the government policies and can benefit from the same. Also, he has to make sure that there are no gaps in government briefings on strategic policies, administration, and even political matters.

Rajkumar is a seasoned communications professional with an impeccable ability to convey his pellucidly written message through various media platforms to reach the masses quickly. He has proven skills in research, content development, and planning & executing media and advertising campaigns through broadcast, print, and online distribution channels. During the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections, he demonstrated his skills in creating and implementing effective media campaigns for the party. As a result, he was entrusted with his new responsibility as Media coordinator by the Manohar Lal Khattar government.

As Media Coordinator, he will curate and execute press releases on the evolving issues in front of the Government. In addition, he will be facilitating press conferences and briefings for the Government. He will serve as the Government’s media liaison for Bharatiya Janata Party and as a spokesperson to address issues on behalf of the office of the Chief Minister. Further, he will monitor all campaigns and report on results to help increase the efficiency of the Government.

He seeks to act as a link between Government and media and foster long-term relationships with media. To keep up the democratic and liberal stance of the Government, he aims to ensure that all the policies are delivered to the citizens and convey their valuable feedback to the Government. As per him, the feedback will be instrumental in identifying how the Government can align its policies better and ensuring the active participation of citizens in the governance process.

His appointment comes at a time when the Government is actively deliberating over the evaluation of the efficiency of its policies in areas such as public welfare, economic growth of the state, and speed up reforms in the bureaucracy.
