Rajkummar and Sanya Malhotra starer Hit: The First Case was released on July 15 but the movie failed to pull the audience on its first day. According to a report, On the third day of its release, it showed a big Jump. The total box office collection now stands at approximately Rs 5 crore, according to early trade reports.

According to a recent report, the film’s earnings are almost doubled. On Day 3, the collection was reportedly Rs 2.30 crore, taking the total figure to Rs 5.58 crore. The film had earned Rs 1.35 crore on Day 1. Hit: The First Case performed better than Taapsee Pannu starrer Shabaash Mithu, which failed to do good business on its opening day. Meanwhile, HIT had an overall 16.58 percent Hindi occupancy on Sunday, July 17. While on Day second, the film earned a total of Rs 3.36 crore.

In the movie, Rajkummar is playing the role of the cop while Sanya is playing his love interest. The movie starts with a case in Rajasthan, a young woman disappears. The case is handed over to Vikram, a bright HIT (Homicide Intervention Team) officer, who has a bad case of the shakes from unresolved trauma and the movie is about his determination to forge ahead regardless.

The movie is directed and written by Sailesh Kolanu, it is the remake of his 2020 south Indian film (Telugu) of the same name. Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra (are playing the main lead in the film.
