New Delhi: On Tuesday, The working of Border Security Force has been assessed by the Home Minister Rajnath Singh and he directed it to set up a real-time intelligence sharing grid and seal all susceptible points along the Pakistan border.

Top officials of the Home Ministry and the Border Security Force which guards Pakistan and Bangladesh borders attended the meeting.

The overall functioning of the BSF reviewed in the meeting besides gaps and falls in border guarding and how to plug them.The Home Minister uttered concern over infiltration from across the International Border and the Line of Control.

According to the Home Ministry official, “The BSF has been told to set up a real-time intelligence sharing grid along with State police forces to act promptly on the intelligence gathered by the border guarding force to effectively check infiltration along the international border”.
