New Delhi: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, while emphasizing the possibility of 'Hunar Haat' to make a significant contribution to the country's economy, said in his address today, 'In the next two-three years, the annual turnover of the rural industry will be Rs. 80 thousand crores. The target is to reach five lakh crore rupees.' With this, he said in his address, 'These craftsmen and craftsmen can contribute a lot to the country's economy.' Ironically, the encouragement he should have received wasn't given to them. Our government is encouraging them. In fact, today Rajnath Singh attended the inauguration of the 26th 'Hunar Haat' being organized by the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. It was during the time that he gave this address.

During his address, he said, 'Currently the business of rural economy is 80 thousand crores. It is targeted to reach five lakh crore rupees in two-three years.' With this, he said, 'Hunar Haat also shows the richness of our cultural heritage. I have come here because I was very impressed by the shops here last time.'

Apart from this, he said, "Here it proves that talent, ability, and art reside in villages, streets, and corridors." Apart from this, he also informed that with the completion of 75 years of independence, 7 lakh 50 thousand artisans and craftsmen are going to be linked with employment and employment opportunities through 75 'Hunar Haat.'
