New Delhi: An FIR has been registered at Narela police station in connection with farmers' attacks on Delhi Police officials in the ongoing 'Kisan' agitation on the borders of the country's capital Delhi. It is alleged that two assistant sub-inspectors of the Special Branch of Delhi Police were taking pictures of the agitation site on June 10 when they were attacked by 'farmers'.

In this case, when Indian Farmers Union (Bhakiu) leader and national spokesperson Rakesh Tikait has come out with a clarification. Tikait said, "The policemen will be in civil dress, the farmers must have thought that there are media people and show us wrongly. Our people don't beat up. The police and the Government want us to be hanged. It has been nearly 200 days since the farmers protested against the new agricultural laws brought in by the Central Government. The 'farmers' have planned to hold a demonstration in front of Raj Bhavan across the country on June 26 to give an edge to the agitation". "On June 26, there will be a farmers' protest and black flags will be shown," a United Kisan Morcha (SKM) leader said on Friday. A memorandum will also be sent to President Ram Nath Kovind. 

Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (Bhakiu) leader Dharmendra Malik told the media that June 26 will be celebrated as "Save Agriculture, Save Democracy Day". On the other hand, by displaying black flags at Raj Bhavan and giving memoranda to the President through the Governor in each State, "We will protest ourselves".
