New Delhi: Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKIU) leader Rakesh Tikait, who is leading the farmers on the Ghazipur border, has once again clarified that in the agitation on the borders of Delhi against the disputed agriculture laws of the Modi government of the Center. The farmers' protest will continue indefinitely if the government does not withdraw all three controversial agricultural laws.

Rakesh Tikait said that if the government did not accept our demands, then we will be sitting on dharna till 2024. Rakesh Tikait further said, "Until the three agricultural laws are withdrawn, a law on minimum support price (MSP) is not enacted and the Swaminathan committee report is not implemented, we will continue our struggle."

Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Tikait also said that this government is only benefiting commission agents. He alleged that a conspiracy is being hatched to benefit corporate and middlemen through these laws. When asked about the inconvenience caused to the people of Delhi due to the peasant protests, Tikait said, "The people of Delhi are themselves part of this movement."
