Yesterday Ram Gopal Varma tweeted, "Regarding tmrw’s release (result) the tension in every candidate of every party will be about 10 times more than any filmmakers when his film is releasing tmrw because a filmmaker on an average makes 10 films in 5 years."

RGV has been attacking CBN for a very long time. Earlier this year, Ram Gopal Varma was booked for sharing morphed photos of Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu. The complaint was filed against RGV for using morphed photos and for making derogatory remarks about Naidu and his family members.
Ram Gopal Varma has apparently highlighted the negative role of Chandrababu Naidu in Lakshmi’s NTR. The film is based on the real life of the former chief minister of N. T. Rama Rao and his relationship with his second wife.
