President Ram Nath Kovind wished a fast recovery to IAF Group Captain Varun Singh, the lone survivor of the military chopper crash in Tamil Nadu.  President Ram Nath Kovind took to Twitter to say, "Group Captain Varun Singh, who survived the sad chopper crash, is in my prayers. I wish him a quick recovery and a long life."

President Ram Nath Kovind recently awarded the Shaurya Chakra to the Group Captain for his valorous actions. The Congress party also prayed for the Group Captain's health and recovery. "The Congress family, together with a billion Indians, prays for Group Captain Varun Singh's health and rapid recovery," the party's official account tweeted.

The IAF Group Captain is on life support in the Military Hospital in Wellington, according to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.  "In Wellington's Military Hospital, Group Captain Varun Singh is on life support. To preserve his life, every attempt is being done "The Minister of Defense had stated. According to sources, Varun Singh’s health is critical but stable, and he can be shifted from the Military Hospital in Wellington to the Bengaluru Command Hospital.
