As Ram Navami celebrates on April 17, the Ram Temple Trust has urged devotees to avoid crowding the Ayodhya temple in Uttar Pradesh for celebrations. Instead, they suggest tuning in to the live broadcast on Doordarshan.

For Ram Navami 2024, the Ram Temple will welcome visitors for 20 hours straight to ensure everyone can see Ram Lalla. To manage the crowd, seven queues will be arranged for devotees.

This year's Ram Navami, marking the end of Chaitra Navratri, holds special significance following the inauguration of the Ayodhya Ram Temple in January. Devotees had a glimpse of Ram Lalla, and now the temple is set for a grand celebration, including the offering of 111,111 kilograms of laddoos as prasad.

On April 17, the Devraha Hans Baba Trust will dispatch 111,111 kilograms of laddoos to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Earlier, the trust sent 40,000 kilograms of laddoos for the temple's Pran Pratishtha on January 22.

Officials have extended the visiting hours for devotees at the Ayodhya Ram Temple until 11 pm on April 17. Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra, stated that worship rituals, including Mangala Aarti, Abhishek, Shringar, and Darshan, will commence from 3:30 am.

"Shringar Aarti will take place at 5:00 am, followed by darshan of Shri Ramlala and other rituals. The curtain will occasionally close for offering bhog to the Lord. Darshan will continue until 11:00 pm, followed by bhog and shayan aarti," the statement outlined.

The Tirtha Kshetra also noted that prasad will be distributed at the temple exit after the shayan aarti on Ram Navami. Visitors are advised to keep their belongings secure and refrain from carrying prohibited items.

Additionally, the issuance of passes for special darshan and aarti will be suspended from April 16 to 19.
