Ranveer Singh is soon going to come in very interesting movie Gully Boy opposite Alia Bhatt. The movie is inspired by the lives of rappers Divine and Naved who rose to instant fame with their desi rap. And the Band Baja Baarat actor Ranveer Singh going play the role of a street rapper who roses to fame.

Recently Ranveer shared a funny photo with rapper Naved Shaikh where the duo is seen flashing their 100-watt smiles. "Aane de Aane de Aane de @naezythebaa #gullyboy" read his caption. 

Ranveer will be teaming up with Alia Bhatt for the first time in Gully Boy, even as the duo has collaborated on lots of ads earlier. The movie is being helmed by Zoya Akhtar and is slated to release on February 14, 2019. 

About Gully Boy, Ranveer earlier said, "It’s very close to my heart. My first film, Band Baaja Baaraat is very special to me. After that, if there’s any film that’s close to my heart, it’s Gully Boy. I want to put these boys (rappers Naezy and Divine) in the spotlight. I want to be a champion for their cause and provide a bigger platform for such amazing talents to shine through.”

Ranveer will also be seen in Simmba where he plays a raunchy police officer.
