According to reports, 50 Cent is gearing up to star in his first romantic comedy, and he wants none other than Nicki Minaj to play the leading lady. Jalen Rose, presenter of the Jalen Rose: Renaissance Man Podcast, asked the hip-hop mogul who he'd cast as his love interest in a romantic comedy on Thursday. After casting Snoop Dogg in his current Starz series, 'Black Mafia Family,' which aired earlier this week and also stars Eminem, 50 Cent has been in a position to do so.

"You know who would probably be fun to work with? Nicki," he said. "Nicki Minaj would be fun to be in a romantic comedy with." He went on to explain why, because of their upbringing in Queens, N.Y.'s South Jamaica area, he knows Minaj to her heart. He explained, "I sorta understand her a little bit more than the other folks."

"She's a much tougher." When she's being a jerk and says things like, 'You're not going to take advantage of me.' The atmosphere had an effect on her, making her a bit more... Because of the temperament of the surroundings and how people are where we came from, she's saying, 'Don't play with me' before you play with her."
