Coldplay singer Chris Martin was married to actress Gwyneth. He's said that soon after his daughter Apple was born, he struggled with his own "sensitivity," which made him "grumpy" and "sulky."

"I think sensitivity can be a superpower, especially if you're in the industry of music or comedy, where you're trying to link your heart to the heart of another," he added. "However, I realized that my sensitivity was affecting the rest of the band in a negative way. In the studio, I'd grow irritable, cranky, and sulky. Or if someone didn't play it the way I wanted them to, it would be a dream come true."

"When it truly hit me was with my kid," Martin continued. I realized she was so sensitive to my being a little bit unexpected that it was forcing her to deal with it. I'm still working on it because I don't want her to feel like she can't be herself in fear when her father gets upset.

"It was necessary for me to be shown that, but I'm thankful." According to media sources, he also confessed that Paltrow was the one who helped him process his emotions in a better way and encouraged him to change his habits.

Chris added, "Her mom," when asked who pointed out his poor moods during an interview on the You Made It Weird podcast. "At this point, she's like my big sister, and there are a few people in my life who have said, 'You might want to work on it a little bit and it might benefit your whole life.''
