One of the most renowned Industrialists Ratan Tata is celebrating his 85th birthday today. He is the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, Ratan. Apart from being a business tycoon, he is also a motivational speaker and a great philanthropist. Ratan Tata joined the Tata Group in 1959. In 1975, he did a management course at Harvard Business School. Ratan Tata became the chairman of Tata Group in 1991.
Ratan Tata’s also remained in news for his personal life. He has never married and has no children. In 2011, Ratan Tata stated, "I came close to getting married four times and each time I backed off in fear or for one reason or another."
Actress Simi Garewal was romantically involved with the renowned industrialist, Ratan Tata. Simi is known for her show, Rendezvous with Simi Garewal. Simi Garewal had once confessed to being in a relationship with Ratan Tata. Simi was questioned about her involvement with Ratan Tata and whether power turns her on. She once said, "Ratan and I go back a long way. He’s perfection, he’s got a sense of humour, is modest and the perfect gentleman. Money was never his driving force. He’s not as relaxed in India as he is abroad."
She further spoke about the men’s in her life and said, “My problem is that I am a sucker for looks. I have been very shallow in my life with regard to men. I could fall for a man for a turn of his lips. Now I’m changing. I love a man with humor and compassion.”
