Material for making uttapam-

- 1 cup rava, dardari thick
- 1/2 cup yoghurt
- 3/4 tsp salt
-1/2  cup water


For toppings:
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2shimala chilli, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped
- 1-inch ginger, finely chopped
-1 chilli, finely chopped
- Some curry leaves, chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt


Method of making uttapam- To make it, first of all, take 1 cup of Rava, 1/2 cup of curd and 3/4 tsp salt in a large bowl. Now mix everything well. After this, add 1/2 cup of water to it and mix well. Now leave it on for about 20 minutes or until the rava water is soaked. Keep in mind that look at its consistency and if necessary, add water to it according to the need. Now prepare the topping of vegetables by finely chopping 1 onion, 1/2 Shimla chilli, 1 carrot and 1 tomato. After this, add 2 tbsp coriander, 1-inch ginger, 1 chilli, some curry leaves and 1/4 tsp salt. Now mix everything well and now make small uttapams from the Rava batter. After this, place the topping prepared with a tablespoon on these and press lightly. Now add one tsp of oil around the uttapam. After this, cover it and cook for a minute or until the uttapam is well cooked. Now turn it over and cook on both sides. After this, enjoy instant rava uttapam with tomato sauce or coconut chutney.
