Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today has showed his sadness towards the victims of Patna Boat Tragedy. According to the sources news he said “I am really saddened by the unfortunate incident. Such incidents should not take place; the arrangements should have been more robust. I firmly believe that the inquiry, which has been instigated, will expose loopholes and bring out at what level the fault took place,” .
Yesterday, the boat capsized in the river Ganga of Patna City as it was overcrowded. Till now, 25 passengers of the boat has lost their life in the incident.
The police has filed an FIR against the Boat Operator. Around 40 people were on board on boat who all were returning after attending the kite festival on occasion of Makar Sankranti.
