Mumbai:The RBI( Reserve Bank of India) on Tuesday has fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 66.7233 against the US dollar and 75.4907 for the euro.These rates were 66.8216 and 75.5953, respectively from Monday.
As per the statement of RBI, "the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 96.5953 and 61.07 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon."
The statement added, "The SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate"
