The BJP has targeted the Uddhav government after former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh's letter to Uddhav Thackeray and accused Home Minister Anil Deshmukh of extortion in the Antilia case. Union Minister and BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad told a press conference on Sunday that Uddhav Thackeray was reminded of the principles of his father Balasaheb Thackeray. Amidst the press conference, Ravi Shankar Prasad spoke on Uddhav, "You are the son of Bala Saheb Thackeray, who described the word Jai Maharashtra. You created a dishonest government for the chair. Now, what are you hurting the dignity of your father? Jai Maharashtra, where you are a CM, is being robbed of crores of rupees," Uddhav has lost his moral authority to govern the government.

Uddhav and Sharad Pawar's silence raises the question: Prasad: It is learnt that while targeting Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar, Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the silence of the two raises questions. Uddhav Thackeray's peace and defense of Sachin Vaze inside and outside the house. Sachin's status is an ASI. The charge of crime CID has been issued. This in itself is surprising.

Continuing with him, Prasad further said that on the one hand, the chief minister defends. On the other hand, the Home Minister says, "Bring me 100 crores. This is a very serious case. This case needs serious and honest action. An independent agency inquiry into the case is necessary as the role of Sharad Pawar, Mumbai Police will come up. CM and Home Minister can have many questions. Amidst the press conference, Ravi Shankar Prasad said that it is not a great rule of governance. The BJP will take up the matter seriously and is going to land on the road as well." He raised the question of whether Deshmukh was recovering for itself or for the party or for the entire government? This is also a serious question.
