Popular Bhajan singer sells vegetables during the Corona era

Due to Covid-19 in the country, religious events and places are restrictive for visit for five consecutive months. The artists and music composers performing in events like 'Bhajan Sandhya' and 'Jagran', etc have suffered major economic loss. One such bhajan singer is Rakesh Sachdeva, a resident of Kotkapura, who is famously known in his field.

He had performed in Faridkot as well as in Punjab, neighboring states of Haryana, Himachal, and also in parts the Delhi. Due to stalled religious gatherings these days, he is forced to be a greengrocer to maintain his family. Bhajan singer Rakesh Sachdeva is known with his father Late Shyam Lal Sachdeva who was also the head of the Bhajan troupe and with him, he also became fond of singing Bhajan. He started singing from the age of eleven.

Now after the lockdown, the government has imposed constraining rules on religious gatherings. Apart from this, worked as a fast-food staller near a private school in Kotkapura, part-time. But due to the closure of the school, that work is also stalled. The same came to die of starvation after which he was forced to do the work of selling vegetables. He has demanded permission from the government to organize a religious congregation under the instructions.
