On the other hand, amid the growing case of corona in the country, the Center has announced a ban on Remdesivir injection and export of Remdesivir Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients until the situation improves. At the same time, all the domestic manufacturers of Remdesivir have been asked to share all the drug-related information on their portal.
Indeed, Remdesivir is considered a major anti-viral drug in the treatment of corona. Therefore, in view of the ever-increasing cases, the government has taken these steps to ensure easy access of hospitals and patients to Remdesivir. Apart from this, the administration has also ordered drug inspectors and other officers to verify the stock of this injection and take effective steps to prevent their black marketing. The administration said that the state health secretary will review this arrangement with the drug inspectors of the respective states / UTs.
