Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered the drug controller to ensure availability of essential medicines at hospitals and medical institutes keeping in mind the corona. Arrangements should also be made for backup of these tablets. There could not be hoarding of medicines anywhere. He has asked the drug controller to report to the CM office daily on the availability and supply of medicines and oxygen in the state.

Cm was reviewing the unlock system at the high-level meeting at Lok Bhawan. He has said that the surveillance team should be increased as per the requirement to conduct the contract tracing effectively. Oxygen plants supply oxygen at a fixed rate in all medical colleges. The oxygen rate should remain the same as before the corona. He ordered stringent action on receipt of a compound of black marketing of oxygen. said that it should be decided that there is no shortage of oxygen in hospitals, medical colleges and medical institutions.

All medical colleges and hospitals in Lucknow, Kanpur Nagar, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Meerut work with full quality and capacity. Drug controllers maintain smooth arrangements for medicine and oxygen in these cities. Health Minister Jaypratap Singh, Chief Secretary R.K. Tiwari were present at the meeting. The Chief Minister ordered that kmu, SGPGI and Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences in the capital should arrange 1000 ICU beds. With this, all arrangements will be made.
