Patna: Bihar is making new announcements at this time. You must be aware that assembly elections are due in Bihar this year and before the elections, Nitish government has now made a big announcement regarding teacher recruitment. According to the Bihar Education Department, only residents of Bihar can apply for the recruitment of State Panchayat Primary School Teacher. According to the information received, people living in other states will not be able to apply as teachers in these schools.

Recently, Nitish government has taken this decision. After his decision, only about 72 thousand government elementary schools in the state can be appointed as teachers and only residents of the state. Actually, the way of appointment for teacher candidates of other states in these elementary schools has now been closed. A clear provision has been issued in the Bihar State Municipal Elementary School Service and Bihar State Panchayat Elementary School Service Rules, 2020 notified by the department on Saturday. According to this, only residents of Bihar will be able to apply for appointment under these two planning rules in Bihar.

You must be aware that this system has been implemented in the planning of secondary and higher secondary teachers in the state since 2006. Accordingly, there are reports about the appointment of only residents of the state in high schools and plus-two. The same provision was given in the planning manual of elementary teachers, but due to lack of explicit mention in the planning rules applicable from 2012, some teachers of other states have also been appointed.
