The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given a big update about the star wicketkeeper-batsman of the Indian team, Rishabh Pant. Issuing a statement, the BCCI has made it clear that Pant will now be shifted to Mumbai for better treatment. For this, Pant will be brought from Dehradun to Mumbai by air ambulance.
BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said in a statement that Rishabh Pant is currently undergoing treatment at Max Hospital in Dehradun. Now all preparations have been made to shift Pant to Mumbai. Rishabh Pant will be shifted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute in Mumbai. In this hospital, Rishabh Pant will be under the care of renowned sports orthopedic Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, told by BCCI. Rishabh Pant's ligament is to be treated. The BCCI medical team is also monitoring Rishabh Pant. The statement said that whatever is necessary for the speedy recovery and comeback of Rishabh Pant will be done.
Rishabh Pant's surgery can also be done in England or America if the BCCI medical team and doctors advise. According to BCCI sources, "If the surgery is advised and needed, it can be done in England or America. Rishabh Pant was not selected in Team India for the T20 and ODI series against Sri Lanka due to an injury.'' The BCCI had asked Rishabh Pant to go to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru for rehab. But before that, he had gone to Dubai to celebrate Christmas.
