New Delhi: It is likely that former Uttar Pradesh chief Rita Bahuguna Joshi will join the BJP ahead of the crucial Assembly election due early next year.
67-year-old Joshi was a part of congress in the 2012 Uttar Pradesh Assembly election and also, apart from being a senior Congress leader, she served as a spokesperson of the party.
On asking about the Joshi's joining the BJP, her brother Vijay Bahuguna has described the reports "just rumours with no truth in them".
