Patna: Bihar's lockdown has been extended for another 10 days. The Nitish government claims that positive results are coming out after the lockdown, the number of patients has declined, so lockdown is the right option to control the speed of corona. Looking at the health bulletin of the Bihar Health Department, the number of new patients has indeed come down. That's where the recovery rate is rising rapidly.

However, the opposition has started questioning the department's figures. The RJD has termed the decline in the number of patients as a game of statistics. The party tweeted from its official Twitter handle on Friday that, "Bihar government is claiming that the number of corona infected people is steadily declining, while the reality is exactly the opposite. Corona has reached the villages. When the hospitals in the cities are so pathetic, you can understand the condition of the villages. But it is very easy for the government to play a game of statistics from villages now".

The pace of spread of corona infection in Bihar has declined slightly these days. The impact of lockdown is visible on the number of patients. According to bihar health department data, 7,752 new infected patients were found in the state on Thursday. There are 1485 patients in Patna. The number of active cases in the state has gone up to 96,277 after 7,752 new infected were found. According to the health department, 14,000 fewer tests were reported on Thursday than on Wednesday.
