Indian opener Rohit Sharma has revealed that he is also very good friends with his limited-overs opener Shikhar Dhawan off the field and this helps them perform better as a pair on the cricket field. After Sachin Tendulkar and Saurabh Ganguly, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma have been playing the responsibility of the opening pair for the Indian team for many years. Both of them share a good partnership not only inside the ground but also outside the ground. Both of them have been opening innings for India since the 2013 Champions Trophy.

The BCCI shared a glimpse of the second episode of 'Open Nets with Mayank' (Aggarwal) on its Twitter where Rohit said, "More than the field, we share things outside the field. We know each other very well And understand each other quite spontaneously, which is very important. " He said, "When we were on the India-A tour, we used to share a room together. We have a lot of history of being together. As a person we both understand each other very well and this helps But we get a lot of help. "

On the other hand, Dhawan too accepted this and hoped that he will continue to perform for India in the coming years. Dhawan said, "We were very good friends on the field from day one, especially when we started the innings for India in the 2013 Champions Trophy. However, we shared a good friendship even before that." He said, "Because it is seen during the partnership between us on the field as well. It has been a great journey with them. I have enjoyed it to the fullest and hope that we can continue it for a few more years."
