In the case of the murder of Rohit Shekhar Tiwari, son of ND Tiwari, senior leader of the nationwide party Congress, his mother Ujjwala Tiwari recorded statements in the court. He told that Shekhar was murdered by his wife Apurva Shukla in despair. Apoorva did this because she had failed to fulfill her purpose. Ujjwala gave this statement in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Sandeep Yadav on Saturday.

Regarding this matter, he told that Apurva wanted to benefit by marrying Rohit. He wanted a ticket to contest from Indore. If the party did not give him a ticket, he got angry and frustrated. After failing in his motive, he killed Rohit.

For your information, let us tell you that Advocate Tariq Nasir presented towards Ujjwala, that the fight between the two started soon after the marriage of Rohit and Apoorva. Apoorva insisted on Rohit to stay away from his mother and not accept his mother's decisions in family matters. But Rohit did not do so. Frustrated with this, he killed them. After the murder, Apoorva had said that there is a need to do the autopsy on the dead body. If we do post mortem of the dead body, what will we shed in the Ganges? At present, the court has postponed the case till 26 February.
