NEW DELHI: Based on the provided information, it seems that there is an ongoing issue related to Manipur in the Indian Parliament. The Rajya Sabha Chairman has invited floor leaders to discuss the matter and find a way forward for discussion. However, the Leader of Opposition (LoP) Mallikarjun Kharge suggested that the House should be adjourned until the meeting takes place.

The opposition bloc, INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance ), has also met with President Droupadi Murmu to seek her intervention in holding the government accountable for the situation in Manipur and restoring peace in the state. They are pressing for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make a statement in Parliament on the matter and also visit the strife-torn state to appeal for an end to violence and promote unity.

In response to Kharge's question about the Chairman defending PM Modi, Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar clarified that he is not required to defend anyone, including the Prime Minister. His role is to defend the Constitution and protect the rights of the members.

Furthermore, the opposition parties have written to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, requesting an advanced schedule for the no-confidence debate. They want to participate in the debate and share their opinions on how to address the situation. The current schedule has set the no-confidence debate to take place on August 8 to 10, the last three days of the session.

It seems that the situation in Manipur is causing disruptions and concern among various political factions in India's Parliament. The leaders are seeking ways to address the issue and find a resolution while expressing their views on the matter.
