On June 13, a week before Yoga Day, the Prime Minister posted his fitness video on Twitter. After coming out in front of this video, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor had alleged that 35 lakh rupees were spent to build this video. However, in response to the RTI filed in this case, the PMO has said that there was no expenditure on making the video that Narendra Modi had posted. The video was made in the Prime Minister's house.

The PMO has said that there was no expenditure on making the fitness video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in June. Videography was done by the cameraman of the PMO and had not had to buy anything for the video. Significantly, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor tweeted, "On the occasion of Yoga Day, Rs 20 crores spent on advertisements. The Prime Minister spent Rs 35 lakh on a fitness video. They have ruined expectations."

In this video, PM Modi appeared on a rock doing the exercise, exercising barefoot and doing yoga. The prime minister released the video after a few days of accepting the fitness challenge of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli. It is worth mentioning that before the Yoga Day celebrations, 'Hum fir toh India fit' campaign was started. Sports Minister Rajyavardhana Rathore had said that the source of inspiration for this is Modi.

After this, PM Modi shared fitness videos on Twitter on June 13. In this video, PM Modi shared the morning's exercise and Yoga video. He wrote in the tweet that He will walk on the track, in which there are five elements- earth, water, fire, air and sky. It freshens and the mind and soul.
