Russia and France will help in ISRO's Gaganyanl project, will train Indian astronauts

NEW DELHI: India is working on a plan to send Indian into space with indigenous technology in 2022, touching new heights in the space sector. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is gearing up to send 3 Indians into space as part of its Gaganyan mission in 2022. Russia and France will also assist in India's ambitious campaign.

Russia's space agency Roscosmos will train a total of 4 indian astronauts for space mission. Out of these 4 passengers, 3 will be sent to the moon as part of the Gaganyan expedition. In addition, France will also provide assistance to India for the Gaganyan mission, training on the health of Indian astronauts from the French side. The training will be held in India and France.

The Russian space agency, Glacosmos, has signed an agreement with the Indian space agency ISRO for the same. Under the scheme, Indian passengers will be trained at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonot Training Centre. The cooperation between Russia and India comes after the visit of National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval to Russia. NSA Ajit Doval had met Gen. Dmitry Rogozin, director of Roscosmos in Moscow last day.
