First consignment of Sputnik-V to reach India on May 1

New Delhi: The second wave of coronavirus in the country is posing a variety of challenges. The Central Government has already announced that vaccine facilities will also be provided to people above the age of 18 years from May 1. In the same vein, the first consignment of Sputnik-V vaccine will reach India from May 1.

Earlier, two vaccines, covishield, and vaccine are being used for vaccination in the country. The arrival of the third vaccine will speed it up. Tell us that this Sputnik-V vaccine is coming to India at a time when there are reports of vaccine shortage in many states. But now this problem will be removed. The Sputnik-V vaccine has been developed by the Gamalya National Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology.

State that Kiril Dmitry, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), has indicated that the consignment of the vaccine will be sent to India on May 1. He also expressed confidence that India will be helped in reducing the risk of coronavirus. Earlier, India had approved the emergency use of the Rusi vaccine in April itself. The Rusi vaccine is believed to be effective in reducing the effect of coronavirus.
