Geneva: India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has once again raised the issue of terrorism in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and appealed to the whole world to unite against it. He said terrorist organizations like Al Qaeda, Islamic State, Boko Haram, and al-Shabaab still remain a threat. These terrorist organizations still remain a threat to global security. Although Jaishankar did not name any country during this time, he was referring to Pakistan. Jaishankar further said that in today's era, the threat of terrorism is more serious in front of us than before. Taking a dig at Pakistan, he said that in some places these organizations are still alive, and their network is active.

The External Affairs Minister said that such a situation exists, especially in South Asia. He said that in today's era, the main centers of terrorism are active. Not only this, Jaishankar said that snake breeders can also be bitten by snakes, they should think about this. He said that Pakistan does not like to take the right advice. Today, the whole world sees it as the center of terrorism, but it is not ready for reform. During this, India also showed a video message of Anjali Kulthe, who survived the 2008 Mumbai terror attack, at the UNSC. Anjali said in the video message that when she was called to identify Ajmal Kasab, the terrorist was smiling, there was no regret on his face. Let us know that this terrorist attack was done by the Pakistan-based and supported organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, which is still active today. So far, Hafiz Saeed and Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, accused of this terrorist attack, are roaming freely in Pakistan.

S Jaishankar further said that the UNSC is well aware that terrorism is a major threat to the security and peace of the whole world. He said Kulthe's statement shows that so far the victims of 26/11 have not got justice. He said that to stop terrorism, we have to clamp down on terror financing and countries that promote it. The Foreign Minister further said that we have to correct the responsibility of those countries from whose soil such terrorist acts are carried out.

At the same time, Jaishankar also targeted China, accusing it of blocking the proposals against terrorists. Regarding Pakistan, Jaishankar said that countries sponsoring terrorism are still not ready to improve. They are engaged in promoting terrorism with all their strength. To carry out these acts, such countries cry for their weakness and borders. But that's only as long as we listen to their arguments.
