At 5.12 a.m. today, the first look of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel's action-packed visual spectacle was released on social media channels. As expected, the highly anticipated teaser has received a warm reception from Prabhas fans and filmgoers alike, and it is currently taking over social media.
The masterfully constructed teaser, which runs for 1.46 minutes, makes it clear that Prabhas and Prashanth Neel's ambitious project would be an absolute pleasure for cinegoers who appreciate action films and big-screen visual spectacles. The Salaar teaser begins with a scene in which actor-director Tinnu Anand, identified as the narrator, is surrounded by a group of foreign thugs with firearms.
Prabhas plays the protagonist, who is seen bringing down an entire battalion of soldiers by himself. However, the teaser just shows a portion of his face, keeping the mystery intact. The Telugu superstar is featured in a rough avatar in a grey t-shirt and a pair of dark grey trousers, with weapons and blood in his hands, revealing the brutality of his character, just as in the film's early posters.
Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in the Prashanth Neel-directed film, marking the actress's first onscreen collaboration with Prabhas. In the film, Jagapathi Babu plays Raja Mannaar, the father of Prithviraj Sukumaran's character Varadaraja Mannaar, alongside Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Garuda Ram, Madhu Guruswamy, and others.
