Thiruvananthapuram: Every year during Onam festival in Kerala, flower sales are usually high, but due to Corona infection, this vendors are facing immense difficulties. According to flower sellers, they have not had a chance to make profits after the corona lockdown. The corona infection epidemic has affected his business. Flowers are usually purchased for decoration during the Onam festival.

The Corona havoc in Kerala is increasing rapidly. On Saturday, with 2,397 new cases of infection, the total infection cases reached 71,700 in the state, while the death toll reached 280 after six more deaths due to the virus. CM Pinarayi Vijayan gave this information. Most of the 2,225 people in the state on Saturday recovered after treatment and were discharged from hospitals.

So far, a total of 48,083 people have become free from corona infection in the state. Currently 23,277 people are undergoing treatment in the state. Of the new cases that have come out, 68 people have returned from abroad and 126 people have come here from other states. The CM said that 63 health workers are also included in the new patients. Currently, there are 589 prohibited areas affected by corona. During the last 24 hours in the country, there have been recorded cases of corona infection. According to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at 8 am on Sunday, a record 78 thousand 761 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours and 948 people have died.
